In this episode, Claire O'Brien and Marta Cybulsky, Canadian medical students, alumni of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and longstanding contributing members of HoE, interview their colleague and good friend, Ravi Jaipaul, regarding his recent mission to South Sudan with M�decins sans frontieres (MSF). Ravi is a registered nurse, as well as an alumni of the London School, and has spearheaded several initiatives in health care strengthening and delivery, in the setting of several developing countries. He speaks to us about what it takes to join MSF, his experience in South Sudan, and the challenges and rewards of maintaining a career in international health, whether you're working in Sudan, Canada, Bangladesh or even the UK.
