As 25 000 Syrian refugees settle in Canada, healthcare professionals are called to prepare for care for this vulnerable population.
This week's show focuses on Dr. Tony Barozzoni and Dr. Ghayda Hassan, who were the experts that spoke at the Caring for Refugee Children Webinar from the Government of Canada Teleconferencing Service (April 4, 2016). Specifically, they talked about CKNC as an useful web resource for health practitioners and migrant workers as well as the importance of providing culturally-sensitive support.
Produced by Alice Shen.
