Neuromodulation is a kind of therapy using technology to treat the nervous system directly to manage symptoms and treat nerves. Dr. Michel Prud'Homme, a neurosurgeon at l'H�pital de l'Enfant-J�sus in Qu�bec and President of the Canadian Neuromodulation Society, spoke to us about the 12th World Congress on Neuromodulation, about access to these technologies in Canada, and about new advances in this interdisciplinary field, and about his own research. Dr. Tim Deer, an anaesthesiologist and President of the International Neuromodulation Society also joined us from Virginia and spoke about leadership in medicine, interdisciplinary teamwork and his research on neuromodulation.
