This week we spoke with Zachary Grant Whittaker from AIDS Community Care Montreal for World Hepatitis Day. We gave an overview of Hepatitis incidence, transmission and treatment, and critically discussed Hepatitis C care, treatment access and the effects of pharmaceutical profiteerism. The key message: any cure for Hepatitis C must include dismantling the social inequalities that lead to the spread of virus in the first place.
